Annual Meeting & Family Event
For the last eight years, the
Colorado Chapter has provided a family event for members to network and socialize. The event offers
opportunities for parents to talk to parents who have older deaf
or hard of hearing children and have experienced an IEP, a cochlear
implant, or the transition from high school to college. Many oral deaf
and hard of hearing adults participate and provide excellent role models
for our children and inspiration for families. Professionals are able to
share information and see some of those growing children they worked
with in the past. Former event venues have included the Denver
Zoo, Elitch's, Four Mile Historic Park, Wings Over the Rockies
Museum, Bellview Park, and Harvard Gulch Rec Center. And to learn how to help with event coordination, please

Fundraising
Activities
Semi-Annual Garage Sale
A great way to raise funds and get
together - volunteers participate
by helping to pick up and deliver garage sale items, set up the night
before, sell and clean up. The profits help fund grants which
will be awarded to Colorado AGBell members to attend national
AGBell conventions.
Cherry
Creek Arts Festival
The popular Cherry Creek Arts
Festival held each July has become one of the chapter's most successful
fundraisers. The funds earned are used for Community Outreach Programs
as well as future scholarships. For further information email us at
